March Fourth Marching Band

I would like to write about one of my favorite bands in the Northwest area, March Fourth Marching Band. The first time I went to see them was at an Afterlife show May 2007, and I was absolutely amazed. The music is so much fun to listen to, dance to, and yes, even watch. It was watching a circus group mixed with a great jazz-funk band. There were stilt walkers, light dancers, and the whole band dressed in crazy costumes. They walked around the audience playing their trumpets, saxophones, and other instruments. It was one of the best shows I saw in 2007. So on that note, I received this bulletin article from them on my myspace account and I wanted to share:

(including ticket prices & show times).
Please forward this email to
anyone you know who either 1) lives in the areas where we are
playing, or 2) has friends / family / contacts who live in those
cities.
We greatly appreciate any and all support!

thanks,
M4

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE!!!

MarchFourth Marching Band is home on a short break from the fall
touring season.
We got back from Colorado last week, where we finished
our last Tour de Fat of the year (sorry Austin!).
We'd like to take a
moment to acknowledge the wonderfulness of New Belgium Brewing
Company.
Not only have they given us copious amounts of beer (which is
brewed using wind power), and put up with our shenanigans at their
fantastically fun festival, they also gave us two beautiful Fat Tire
cruiser bicycles (as seen on their bottles -- and now cans too -- of
Fat Tire Amber Ale).
Thanks so much New Belgium, we love you guys!

Soon we head east, with shows in Chicago and Bloomington this
weekend, NY on Monday, DC on Thursday, and Boston the following
weekend. See the details on all these shows and more below.

By the way, if you have friends and family in these cities who might
enjoy our show, why not send them a quick endorsement of M4 with the
details? I'm sure they'll thank you later for the recommendation.
